“Mallard” is a 24×20 original oil painting of a male mallard.Having grown up on the Chesapeake Bay in Maryland, the sound of ducks was the arm clock.We lived on Turkey Point on the South River just a few rivers north of Annapolis.We use to let the dog chase the mother ducks off the nests and steal enough eggs for all of us kids and our friends to raise. My mother would be the one to stay upon as they hatched under a lamp.We had so much fun playing with the ducklings and walking them down to the bay in a line behind us to take a swim.Whether you are an sportsman or a wildlife lover.This is the painting for you.
