Camellia

“Camellia” is a 16×20 original oil painting on wide canvas. The camellia bushes at my grandmother’s house were so big and beautiful we would make Easter corsages for all the ladies in the church. We also use to jump on them and roll down the sides hoping that my grandfather would not catch us! This painting along with all my florals are a tribute to a wonderful lady and gardener. I wish my flowers were as beautiful as hers. So, I paint them in memory of beautiful gardens and a beautiful person.
