“Giliana” is a 16×20 original oil portrait of a bride. I absolutely love to paint portraits. I would have to say it is my painting of choice. I love the detail in the eyes and the blending of the skin tones. The dresses are so much fun as each layer of paint brings out the lace and folds. Outdoor backgrounds give me chance to paint landscapes. Portraiture is challenging and very rewarding as the person comes to life on my canvas.
