La Cabanon de Julie

“La Cabanon de Julie” is a 28×22 original oil of a street scene in Le Castelette, France. The first day off the cruise ship was in Toulon. We climbed the cobblestone street as it wound up a hill over looking the French Riviera and we saw this castle town. I have painted so many pictures from this town. Le Castelette was originally a greek settlement dating back to 500 BC. This Bed and Breakfast has my name on it. I took myself and the rest of the tourist out of the picture and created “La Cabanon de Julie”. Every little detail is captured down to the edges and designs of the quilts.
