Villa Carlotta

“Villa Carlotta” is a 30×40 original oil painting depicting the beautiful water fountain in the court yard of Villa Carlotta in Lake Como, Italy.I was fascinated with the detail and sculpture work of this fountain. It faces the lake and Italian alps.Look closely and one can see he is a dragon fly.He is holding his tail and the back view shows his little wings.One day I will paint the back view that shows his wings as he looks out through a gorgeous rod iron fence to Lake Como and the Italian Alps.I’m waiting for a commission for that one. However, this painting side by side with the back view would be stunning.
